The other changes to the game with this mod include the new campaign map, which is a lot bigger, and includes more territories and towns. There is not much to say about this AI except that it is on the extreme side of the difficulty. It is probably the most isolated you will ever feel after Savage AI.
Gracul AI - if you're new to the game, don't play this. So the Lusted AI is not as Aggressive and more tamable with a balanced demeanour. And even on Lusted you may find yourself fighting other factions, these included England, Scotland, France, Spain, Fatimid Caliphate and Moorish Caliphate (Obviously after they call a Jihad) However I was able to easily form an Alliance with Germany and Poland, as well as Aragon. The usual Enemies of Byzantine were the Venetians, Sicilians and the Seljuk Sultanate (Turkish). Still waged war far less frequently but not as often and in rapid succession. Playing as the Byzantine Empire I manage to complete this Campaign.
Lusted AI - However when i did want to play with a more passive AI, i still found Lusted to be NOT so passive. I am playing as Lithuania and Factions like Scotland and Aragon waged war against me within 50 turns. The rest were waged by everyone against me. Savage AI - On my last play within 100 turns the AI was waging war against me like mad. You may notice them later or early on as you play. Personally I found little difference between them, though there are differences indeed. Gracul AI, Lusted AI and Savage AI are 3 types of AI behaviours settings for the mod, AI (The better part of the game, can be hard to master.) to how it behaves, even trade and recruiting. Whichever you choose, you will further be allowed to immerse yourself by choosing some sub mods from a Script Handler. Late Era Campaign Starting at the year 1220 Stainless steel mod will require you to setup the game.ĭuring the setup you will be given the option of IMPORTANT - Following the installation guide properly and double check everything is in order. 6.4 as it is a very popular mod and it isīeing recommended a lot - So this is for those ones looking for an honest review. I've played all sorts of mods, from EB II to KGCM and LOTR.īut I'm only here to post about S.S. The novelty of the base game wears off and you soon find yourself looking However I've played this game for many years off steam, and of course like many of you, I got over 200 hours on the steam version of Medieval total war II, Because A) I haven't played all the nations and B) that is not the focus of this thread. I will not discuss strategies or how to play each nation. I will list my issues with the mod as well as Pros. This is an honest review for the Stainless Steel mod 6.4
